Trillions generated

In a certain year, solar and wind energy gerneration totaled 1018 trillion BTU's.  Wind generated 55 trillion times that generated bysolar energy.  How much was generated by each source?

Wind generated 51 trillion times that generated by Solar
 
Let x trillion = BTU's generated by Solar,
 
then 51x trillion = BTU's generated by Wind
 
      x trillion + 51x trillion = 1,014 trillion
 
                     52x trillion  = 1014 trillion
 
        x = 19.5 trillion BTU Solar Generated
 
       51(19.5) trillion = 994.5 trillion BTU Wind Generated

55 trillion times x = BTU's generated by wind
 
Together they produced 1018 trillion BTU's
 
55 trillion x + x = 1018 trillion
55, 000, 000 ,000, 001x = 1, 018,000, 000, 000, 000
 
                                 x = 1,018 trillion / 55, 000, 000, 000, 001
 
                                 x = 18.51 BTU's generated by solar
