Let a be the age of A and b be the age of the person B.
First statement tells us that (a-b) years ago, A's age was 5 times of B's age. Thus:
a - (a-b) = 5 (b - (a - b))
=> b = 5 (2b - a)
=> a = 9b/5
Also, currently sum of their age is 64 years. Thus:
a + b = 64
=> 9b/5 + b = 64
=> 14b/5 = 64
=> b = 22.86 years
a = 64 - 22.86 = 41.14 years
