Deep sea diver vectors problem

A deep sea diver swan 30 m due east then 120 m deep down and finally 40 m due south to reach a wrecked ship. How far is the wrecked ship from the diver's starting point ? (Solve using vectors)

The diver swam east, down, and south.  Those are mutually perpendicular directions.

By the way, I should have used -120 instead of 120 for the 'down" part of the swim, but the final answer is the same, since the quantity is squared.   I edited the solution.
