This is kind of a Combinatorics problem. For each of the 5 digits, you have 10 choices of numbers: 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9. So, you have 10 ways to choose a digit for each of 5 digits.
So, There are 10 ways to choose the first digit, 10 ways to choose the second digit, etc. Or, there are 10*10*10*10*10 = 105 = 100,000 possible combinations.
