Why are the conductivity values measured for ethanol (C2H5OH) and sucrose (C12H22O11 ) very similar to the conductivity value observed for distilled water?

Although we usually consider water as a good conductor of electricity, it is so because of various ionic impurities. Thus, pure water is a very poor conductor, just like ethanol or sucrose--those do not dissociate, thus don't conduct.
