How to find using snell's law

Need to know how to solve and how you got an answer. A beam of light moves from air to an optical fiber (n=1.44). If the beam of light entered at a 23 degree angle, what is the angle of refraction inside the optical fiber?

When light passes from one medium to a different medium, its direction most likely changes (direction does not change if the angle of incidence is 0^o).Use Snell's law to determine the angle of refraction. The problem is not clear on whether 23^o or 67^o= (90^o - 23^o) is the angle of incidence. I am assuming it is 23^o.

 

n₁ sinθ₁ = n₂ sin θ₂

 

n₁ = 1.44   n₂ (air) = 1.00

θ₁ = 23^o    θ₂ = ?

 

Substitute into Snell's law, and solve for θ₂.
