The median of a group of numbers is one way to determine the "middle" of the group. (Others include the average, or mean, and the mode.)
The median of an odd group of numbers is easy to find. All you need to do is arrange the numbers from smallest to largest. Then, find the number in the middle!
In a group of 9 numbers, the middle number will be the 5th.
So, all you need to do is rearrange the numbers from smallest to largest and find the 5th number.
