Velocity vs time: velocity plotted on the y-axis and time plotted on the x-axis. If we find the slope of the line, where the slope is the rise divided by the run (rise/run) or the change in velocity (rise) divided the the change in time (run) so that in an equation: slope = (Δv / Δt). Doesn't that look remarkably the same as the equation for solving the uniform or average acceleration of an object?
The process on the graph is finding the slope or in algebra it is finding the derivative of the function.
