Simplify:(5x^3-3x+1)÷(x-2)

Simplify:(5x3−3x+1)÷(x−2)

The direction was to "simplify." In Algebra that direction means to rewrite with a few symbols as possible. It is not the same as the direction "divide."
The quotient/remainder presented has more symbols that the original. It is less "simple."
