2 Conceptual Questions about Fluids/Physics

1) Blood flows through an artery that is partially blocked. As the blood moves from the wider region into the narrow region, the blood speed:

a) Alternately increases then decreases
b) decreases
c) increases
d) drops to zero
e) stays the same

I think the answer is C, but I'm second guessing myself a bit.

2) An ideal fluid flows through a pipe of variable cross section without any friction. The fluid completely fills the pipe. At any given point in the pipe, the fluid has a constant:

a) kinetic energy
b) pressure
c) velocity
d) total energy
e) potential energy

I think the answer is B, but I'm not one hundred percent sure. Any help is appreciated!!!
