There are a couple of ways to do this.
1) You can find the "minutes per lap" and multiply
by 22., as Thomas E. did
(5 mins)/(4 laps) = 1.25 mins/lap
1.25(22) = 27.5 mins
2) Set up a proportion: 5 mins is to 4 laps as x mins is to 22 laps...
5/4 = x/22
Cross multiply
4x = 5(22)
4x = 110
x = 110/4
x = 27.5 minutes
