The question should be asking what number of pastries must be made (and sold, presumably) in order to keep the average cost of a pastry at $5.00 or less.

 

Or, what's max. # of pastries that can be baked to keep total daily cost below $500 (or $5,000).

 

Anyway, the problem needs to be fixed.
