Let Width=w

Step Two: Create Equation

Perimeter=2length+2width

94=2(3w-5)+2w Distribute

94=6w-10+2w Combine Like Terms

94=8w-10 Add 10 to both sides

104=8w Divide both sides by 8

13=w

∴The width is 13 while the length is 34.
