Hi Santhosh,
For rectangles, Area=length x Breadth.
We know that the area of this rectangle is 475 and the breadth is 19, so we have the equation:
475cm2=length x 19cm
Divide both sides of the equation by 19cm, and we get 25cm for the length
The perimiter is the total of the lengths of all sides, so perimeter = 2(length) + 2(breadth)
Length = 25cm
Breadth = 19cm
so: perimeter = 2*25cm+2*19cm = 88
