Explain in a complete sentence or two how many miles in total the car drove.

Can you explain to me how to do this problem on my math homework? A car travels 50 miles per hour for 3 hours from Columbus to Cleveland. Remarkably, the car is able to maintain the exact same speed the entire time, and the car never has to stop at a stop sign or stoplight.

The car then returns to Columbus from Cleveland. On the way back, the car travels even faster, going 75 miles per hour. Again the car is able to complete the drive while maintaining the same speed and never having to stop.
