The perimeter of a rectangle is 220 m. If the length is 10 m less than three times the width, find the dimensions of a rectangle. What is the length?

2w+2l=220
l=3w-10
therefore
2w+6w-20=220
therefore 8w=240
therefore w= 30
therefore l = 3*30-10 = 80
