I can't draw in the text program but I will do my best to describe what one might look like.
Draw a rectangle with lines in it that divide it into 4 equal pieces. You can do this by drawing 3 vertical (straight up and down) lines or with 2 lines that cross each other to make a + sign.
Lightly shade in 3 of the 4 equal sized pieces.
Draw the same rectangle again with dividing lines and shading but when you are finished draw more lines to divide each of the four pieces into halves making a total of eight equal pieces or into thirds making 12 total pieces or...
Once you finish count the total number of pieces made and the number that is shaded. Use these numbers to make your equivalent fraction.
shaded pieces/total number of pieces
in the end you should be able to say that 3/4=?/? from your newly divided rectangle
