d = 2πr = 2π (23.6 cm) ≈ 2 (3.14) (23.6) cm = 148.3 cm

 

velocity (or speed) is

 

v = d / t = (148.3 cm) / (17.59 s) = 8.43 cm/s

 

or 0.0843 m/s, or 84.3 mm/s.

 

(Note the accident that, 148.3 / 17.59 ≈ 8.431: d & v are anagrams!)
