cool so since they are consecutive integers let them be n and n+1
Now let's come up with an expression that satisfies the given condition
n + 4(n+1) = 44
n + 4n + 4 = 44
5n = 40
n = 8
and n + 1 = 8 + 1 = 9
so your two integers are 8 and 9
we can also do a solution check by substituing our two integers into our expression
8 + 4 (8+1)
= 8 + 4(9)
= 8 + 36
= 44
Bingo we have the right integers.
Hope it helped
