A great way to understand how to solve questions like the first one that requires you to use the ideal gas law is to start by writing down what are the known values, figuring out which variables in the ideal gas law are constant and what variables you have to solve.

First question, you have to tell me the volume of the balloon at maximum inflation. 

PV= nRT, PTR are known, but you have to know v in order to solve for n and then m. 

 

Second question: 

2NaHCO3 --> 1CO2, use dimensional analysis:

 

(2.0/84)(1/2) = 0.012 mol

 

Third question: 

since first one is unable to solve, so is this one.
