Lake eutrophication when there is an abundance of plant life and sunlight with mild/hot temperatures occurring. Because of these conditions and excess nutrients like phosphorous and nitrogen algae can begin to grow out of control. As this continues oxygen can be deleted to the point that the water animals begin to suffocate and you will observe dead floating to the surface. To remedy this the dead fish would need to removed anti algae chemicals put in the lake.
