I had to pick an equation of line 1 in y=mx=b and I picked y=2x+7, how do I find three lines parallel to line 1 (y=2x+7)?

So, I'm doing a math assignment where I have to make up an equation of a line in y=mx+b

I picked y=2x+7 and now the next step is to find at least three other lines that are parallel to y=2x+7

My problem is...I'm not quite sure how to find the parallel lines..

Also, I have to find three perpendicular lines too, I'm not sure how to go about this!

The line  y=2x+7  has a slope (m=2).

All lines that are parallel to it also have m=2.

All lines perpendicular to it have a value of m=-1/2     (the negative reciprocal)

 

So, these lines are parallel to y=2x+7

                                      y = 2x + 8

                                      y = 2x + 5

                                      y = 2x - 20

 

These lines are perpendicular to y=2x+7:

                                   y = (-1/2)x + 6

                                   y = (-1/2)x -14

                                   y = (-1/2)x
