Being that you have scaled axes, your solutions must be within the scale of your axis. If it is not, then there is no solution.
We can solve this algebraically, because graphing will take time, being that the scale of your y-axis is ridiculously long.
If we equate the two functions, we can solve for x.
39x + 20 = 49x
Subtract 39x on both sides of the equation.
20 = 10x
Divide both sides of the equation by 10
2 = x
Next, substitute this value of x into the two equations. When you do so, the two values of y should be the same.
y = 39(2) + 20 and y = 49(2)
y = 78 + 20 y = 98
y = 98 y = 98
So your solution in order pairs is (2, 98).
