The rules: (p=hypothesis & q=conclusion)
Statement: If p, then q
Converse: If q, then p
Inverse: If not p, then not q
Contrapositive: If not q, then not p
When you fill in p & q, make the sentence grammatically correct (make it sound normal).
so...
1) If it is Saturday, then school is closed
Converse: If school is closed, then it is Saturday
Inverse: If it is not Saturday, then school is not closed
Contrapositive: If school is not closed, then it is not Saturday
Don't worry about the statements being true. This is just about form for now.
