All math all the time
When adding or subtracting any fractions (including ones with polynomials), you need a common denominator. Similar to the way 12 is the common denominator for 3 and 4 (since 12 is the least common multiple, so you multiply the two numbers together), the common denominator of x-2 and x+2 is (x-2)(x+2). Then, you simply add/subtract across the top once you have your common denominator, so your numerator would be x-3 and your denominator would be (x-2)(x+2).
