This is rather open ended question, so I would start by separating the question into two:
Why is teaching a choice?
Why is teaching an adventure?
Start with the first question and begin brainstorming by just thinking of what comes to your mind when you think of "choosing to teach". After you have a set of ideas that pair with that question, ask yourself the second question. Jot down your ideas on how teaching is an adventure. After you have your lists, you may want to begin comparing and contrasting the ideas as you write. If you've never taught before in a formal setting, try to reflect on what you've observed of your teachers and their lives to gain insight. If time permits, you may even want to try contacting a few of them and ask them their feelings on these questions and incorporate those interviews into your paper.
I hope this inspires your creative writing!
