So for your question recall the distance formula. Distance = Rate * Time
To make things easier convert the time given to hours alone so that the units (hours) will cancel out leaving just km. To do this take the minutes and divide it by 60 to get the decimal value of 15mins/60mins. 15/60 simplifies to 1/4 or .25
D = R * T
D = (317.5 km/h) * (3.25 hrs) = 1,031.875 km
