Religion, Crime, and Sex: Plato argues in the Republic that the best political society should not let its members disrespect the gods in art, should not produce art (like the Sopranos or Breaking Bad) that glorifies crime or "wrong" behavior, and sex should be carefully controlled to ensure that the best reproduce with the best, ensuring something like "genetic purity." Of course, it's not entirely clear Plato actually believed we should do any of these things, as Socrates is just a character in Plato's Republic, not necessarily a "mouthpiece" of Plato's views.
