Take the original cost of the dress and subtract the final price to get the total discount received with the coupon. Then you divide the discount by the original cost to get the percentage of discount.
So...
$110-$82.50=$27.50
$27.50/$110=.25 or 25%
Alternately you can just divide the discounted price by the original and subtract that answer from 100 percent to get the final answer.
So...
$82.50/$110=.75
1.00-.75 =.25 or 25%
