Definition of complementary angle is if sum of measurements of two different angles yields the measurment of a right angle, i.e., 90 degrees then those two angles are complementary angles. the m<1 =30 degrees and m<2 = 2*m<2= 2* 30 degrees = 60 degree sum of their measurements becomes (30+60) degrees= 90 degrees. hence they are complementary.
