Hi Rafaella, I think the question might be like this
....... If each one were to work 6 hrs more per week, ..... , right?
Ok lets try this one :
Assume, initially janny works 'x' hrs and kevin works '3x' hrs
According to the next condition, kevin has to work (3x + 6) hrs and janny has to work (x + 6) hrs.
And also, 3x + 6 = 2 (x + 6)
3x + 6 = 2x + 12
This makes , x = 6
That means janny works 6 hrs and kevin works 3(6) = 18 hrs , at present.
