Each fish tank can hold 20 fish. Assuming there are no fish currently in any of the tanks, you could write it like this:
20 fish in one tank + 20 fish in another tank + 20 fish in the last tank = 60 fish total
or
20+20+20=60
If you know how to multiply, you can do it by taking the number of tanks ( 3 ) and the number of fish that can fit in each tank ( 20 ) and multiply them together to get their product, which is 60.
20 fish per tank times 3 tanks = 60 fish total
or
20*3=60
So if you have 3 empty fish tanks, you can add 60 more fish.
