I have software that can create sentence diagrams, but I'm not sure how to reproduce those in this Answers format. So here are just the elements of the sentence Nouns are words that name people, places, things, or ideas:
Nouns - subject of the main clause
are - main verb
words - head of subject complement words that name people, places, things, or ideas
that name people, places, things, or ideas - relative clause (or "adjective clause") modifying words
that - subject of the relative clause
name - main verb of the relative clause
people, places, things, or ideas - compound direct object of name consisting of the single-word noun phrases people, places, things and ideas
or - coordinator
