In India water lilies grow extremely fast. In one pond, a lily grew so fast that each day it doubled the area it covered. In 26 days it covered the pond. How long would it take 2 such lilies to cover the pond?

in 26 days the whole pond is covered by one lily

in 25 days 1/2 the pond is covered by one lily

if you had 2 lilies, the second lily would cover the other half of the pond so the pond would be completely covered in 25 days
