You consume 25.0 mL of whiskey (47% alc by vol) and 27.5 mL of scotch (40% alc by vol). Which drink gave you the most ethanol? How many grams of ethanol did each drink yield? density of ethanol is 0.789 g/cm^3

cc - cubic centimeter - cm^3
Whiskey has: 25mL*0.47 = 11.75mL = 11.75cc of ethanol i,e 11.75cc*0.789g/cc = 9.27g
Scotch (Whiskey?) has: 27.5mL*0.4 = 11mL = 11cc and that makes it : 8.68g of ethanol
47% = 47/100 = 0.47
40% = 40/100 = 0.40
