a women received a bottle of perfume as a present. the bottle contains 1/2 oz of perfume. how many milliliters is this?

The women received a bottle of perfume which was 1/2 oz of liquid, which contains 15 ml of liquid.  1/2oz = 14.7868, which you round up that gives you 15ml. I hope that helped answer the question.

volume in ml = (volume in fl oz) x (29.57 ml) 
 
volume in ml= 1/2 oz x 29.57 ml 
 
14.785 = volume in ml
 
Therefore, you found up to 15.
