In word (story) problems, "of" usually means multiply:  1/3 of 15 pages are written   means   (1/3)*15 = 5 pages written.

That leaves 15-5 = 10 pages yet to be written.

 

The tough part of word problems is translating them into math expressions;  after that, they are easy.
