The length of the pipe is 9(12) + 4 + 5/8 = 112.625 inches.  Let X be the length of each of the four equal pieces.  The last piece will be 0.5X.  To find X, solve the following equation:

4X + 0.5X = 112.625

 

X = 25.028 inches

0.5X = 12.51 inches
