Sure wrote the problem right  or misunderstood it? When raised to the 1/2 power it means square root 

 

 

Is it  y=3X^1/2   ?....lets try...draw a table first with X  and Y  columns.... Lets try PERFECT SQUARE ROOTS..

Numbers that have whole numbers as answers for X and whole numbers as answers for Y.  Now draw your line.

 

          X            Y=(3*(X**.5))     Y=

          4                                       6

          9                                       9

          16                                     12

          25                                     15

          49                                     21

 

I hope this is what you are looking for.  Also, notice the difference of 3  in the Y column.
