I disagree with Michael J. !!
He is correct up to the point he says
Perimeter = 2*length + 2*width
But that should give the expression
Perimeter = 2*148 inches + 2*120 inches
= 296 inches + 240 inches
= 536 inches
Now, no one would enter a store and order 526 inches (unless they only had a ruler with inches) of anything. Normally, they would order 44 feet 8 inches of strip (that is much easier to measure; yards might be easier still -- ever been to a fabric store?).
Now think about it, if the room is 10 feet wide and more than 12 feet long, the perimeter must be 2*10 feet + 2*(12 1/3 feet). That is a total of 44 2/3 feet, or 44 feet 8 inches.
I included that paragraph about "think about it" because many, many math students don't "think about it." And when your teacher or tutor lets you get away without thinking, that is a crime!

*I meant to put 240 instead of 24.*
And I would never let students to get away with solutions or answers without thinking. If a mistake is made, I make it my responsibility to fix it. And if another person sees the mistake that I overlooked and corrects it, that is fine too. Teachers and student do not intentionally let students get way with wrong answers. Mistakes do happen.
