cafeteria sells pepperoni and vegetarian pizza. Pepperoni slices are $3 and vegetarian are $2.50. Every day they sell at least 3 times as many pepperoni slices as they do vegRotarian. Total sales is never more than 250 slices. 

Let p represent the number of pepperoni slices sold

let v represent the number of vegetarian slices sold.

write a system of linear inequalities to describe the constraints. Then, write an objective function that represents the profit made from the sale of pizza slices

P + V <= 250

 

Lets call the profit M for money

M = 3P + 2.5V

 

The above equation is probably what the problem wants; however, it does not take into account the

cost of doing business such as buying the ingredients, and other such things.  A more accurate

function would be

 

M = 3P + 2.5V - C

where C is the cost associated with making the pizzas
