Al3+ + 3e- → Al
Magnesium metal is oxidized (oxidation occurs at the anode), which means it loses electrons:
Mg → Mg2+ + 2e-

Almost. Your reduction of Al3 and oxidation of Mg are correct as written but the two half-cell reactions do not have the same number of electrons. Multiply the reduction reaction by two and the oxidation reaction by three to have an equal number of electrons gained and lost.
