I'm need help answering my questions for my test im really good at all my other subjects but not math will u Plz help me

A scale factor can be thought of as a ratio or fraction.  

 

In ratio form 3 inches over 25 inches is  3:25  

 

In fraction form 3 inches over 25 inches is 3/25  

 

You can use a calculator to do the division, or if you don't have a calculator just multiply top and bottom by 4 to get 

 

12/100 = 0.12
