1.0 M is the same as saying 1.0 mol/L
Volume of the solution is 100 mL we need to convert this to Liters, V= 0.1 L
if we use the equation C = n/V
where:
C is the concentration (in mol/L)
n is the Number of moles of solute
V is the Volume of the solution in Liters
we can rearrange the equation to say n = C * V
n = (1.0 mol/L) * ( 0.1L)
n = 0.1 mol
AgCl is the solute so the moles of solute needed to make a 1.0 M solution of AgCl in a 100mL flask is equal to 0.1 mol
