two lines of addition of 5 ones

And a third line

1+1x0+1=?

1+1+1+1+1= 5

1+1+1+1+1 =5

1+1x0+1= 2

The first two are clear.  The third line requires that you know that there is an order of precedence for arithmetic operations.  In our case the multiplication must be done first and then the addition.
