how much was sold

Last week, a chocolate shop sold 9 3/4 ounces of white chocolate. It sold 5 5/8 times as much milk chocolate as white chocolate. How many ounces of milk chocolate did the shop sell? please answer quickly its for homework!!!

Answer 1

9 * 4 = 36

36 + 3 = 39

 

5 * 8 = 40

40 + 5 = 45

 

So we have:

³⁹/₄ * ⁴⁵/₈ = 1755/32 --> 54 ²⁷/₃₂ ounces sold
