I will give it a try:
Microwave hotspots are caused by standing waves in the field, which is half-wavelength apart. In this case, the distance is 4 cm, i.e. wavelength=8 cm.
speed of light in this case: c=wavelength*frequency=8 cm*300 MHz=2.4E+7 m/s
If the frequency is fixed 300 MHz and wavelength is 25 cm, c=25 cm*300 MHz=7.5E+7 m/s
Same if the wavelength is 1.0 m, c=1.0 m * 300 MHz=3.0E+8 m/s
