formula for volume of cylinder: V = πr2h

substitute 628 to V:      πr2h = 628

we know r = 5 cm because 2r = d = 10 cm

π(52)h = 628

let's use the approximation of pi which is 3.14

h = 628 / (25 * 3.14)

therefore, h = 8 cm.
