A mountain-climbing expedition establishes two intermediate camps, labeled A and B in the drawing, above the base camp. What is the magnitude Delta r of the displacement between camp A and camp B?
Camp A has a height of 3200m. Camp B has a height of 4900m. The base camp ground level is 11200m. Below the base camp is a 19600m.

Hi!
From what I'm gathering from the problem statement:
Camp A = 3200m
Camp B = 4900m
Displaced distance = Camp B - Camp A (Assuming up is the positive direction)
Displacement = 4900m - 3200m = 1700m
So the displacement between Camp B and Camp A is 1700m.
