Transmission Line Current

If a 50 Ohm transmission line is driven by a 10 V peak-to-peak RF source over 1-10 MHz, what current flows when it is terminated in 40 Ohms?

This questions is easily answered in a circuit simulator such as SIMetrix.

As I am very new to Wyzant, I created this question to enable me to try dropping a jpg file, etc. with a circuit schematic. It will not work. I assume that doing this on the white board would allow such an operation, but not in this forum.

The solution to this question is profoundly easy since the transmission line is ideal, i.e. no loss of any kind. Therefore, in this scenario the current in the load termination (40 Ohms) is 10 V / (50+ 40) = 0.11111 amps.
